The server.cmd script included with TERM for AIX does not list the ZMODEM or WTERMCRC file transfer protocols. So if you run:
term -x server
those protocols are unavailable from the menus. To work around this, run TERM in server mode instead:
WTERMCRC: term -1x
ZMODEM: term -2x

After mapping the Fld+ key in TN5250 emulation, pressing it moves the cursor to the next field. However, sometimes it cuts off the last digit entered in the previous field. For example, if you enter $11.03 into a field and then press Fld+, the previous field will sometimes display $1.10.

When debugging RPGILE programs, the TN5250 emulation gives an invalid response. Thus, the debug never properly executes. In particular, it seems to happen when column 6 is left blank.

The TERM for AIX install has three subdirectories: 3.2, 4.1 and 4.2. These correspond to the appropriate version of AIX.
If you have AIX 4.3 or higher, TERM for AIX 4.2 is fully compatible. In other words, though the 4.2 directory doesn’t specifically specify, it is for all versions of AIX numbered 4.2 or higher.

On a connection where you are able to type ahead of the cursor display, the TN5250 emulation will not buffer the additional keystrokes. If the cursor is not in the correct field when characters are typed, they are lost.

When using the Century FTP Client to connect to an FTP server using the QNX realtime operating system, no files are displayed. The command-line FTP client on the same PC will list files properly.
This problem has not been reported with SecureFT, the replacement for the Century FTP Client.

None of the keys in the “island” between the main keyboard and the numeric keypad can be mapped in combination with Shift. These include the arrow keys, Insert, Home, Page Up, Delete, End and Page Down. Nor can they be mapped in combination with the Alt key, or Shift+Ctrl. They can only be mapped unshifted, or in combination with the Ctrl key.
