Terminal properties
Terminal determines the terminal emulation properties. Options include:
- Emulation displays the list of available terminal emulations
- Setup… displays the Emulation Setup dialog box. Advanced settings include specifying an IBM 3101/3151 Turn Around
Character, specifying settings for VT emulations, and specifying display
settings.
- Duplex Mode displays the list of duplex modes. Click on the down arrow to display mode choices; click on the duplex mode
desired.
- Telnet terminal type
- ScrollBack Buffer Lines defines the number of previously viewed lines to be saved in terminal mode.
This allows you to scroll backward and forward to see data which has already
scrolled by your screen. The maximum number of lines which can be defined is 999.
If you change the number of lines, the changes are not in effect until you save
and reload your configuration.
For more information, see Using the scrollback buffer.
- End of Line Wrap controls whether the selected emulation automatically linefeeds when a
character is typed in the last column. Checked causes the cursor to move to the first
column of the next line. Unchecked causes the cursor to remain in the last
column until a carriage return is received.
- Ignore Graphics Parity Bit
- Use Custom Emulation Size changes the number of lines and columns of characters displayed in the
TinyTERM window. (Note: Unchecking this option does not restore the window’s display to the default settings.)
