Support Line Procedures
To assist the Technical Support staff in answering questions and resolving
problems quickly, please follow these support line procedures:
- Please do not request a specific representative for new questions or problems;
this may cause delays in responding to calls.
- Provide specific details concerning the computer system's hardware and
software configuration (such as your operating system and the type of connection you
were using).
- Note the Serial Number and Version Number of your Century product before
contacting Century. Century products run on a wide variety of systems, this
information helps us provide correct answers quickly.
- Call from a phone that allows you access to the computer system while you are
speaking.
- Have applicable documentation available. Read and note any applicable sections
or release notes.
- If possible, be prepared to re-create the problem with the Technical Support
Representative. Otherwise, be prepared to give a step-by-step description of how
the problem occurred.
