Loading a Session
The TinyTERM Emulator provides multiple session capability: one on each of the
COM ports provided by the operating system, and up to nine distributed over a
network connection, if the network supports multiple sessions. Up to nine total
sessions can be accessed with the TinyTERM Emulator. Multiple sessions can be
confusing at first. New design features in the TinyTERM Emulator for MS Windows
simplify interaction with multiple sessions.
A session is, most simply, a connection. It is created from configuration file
information and looks like a emulation screen. So all discussions about
connections and configurations apply directly to sessions.
Loading a session reads a configuration file and changes settings, but does
not connect or dial the modem. See Opening a Session for detailed information.
