Determining Your Needs
Before installing the TinyTERM Emulator, you need to define your needs. This
includes:
- Determining hardware requirements.
- Determining software requirements.
Hardware Requirements
- A personal computer with 386 or higher processor.
For network connections, previously installed network hardware including an NDIS or ODI compliant network interface card.
OR
For asynchronous (serial) connections a serial port or Hayes compatible modem and an RS-232C cable to connect the serial port to the host or external modem.
- One 1.44 MB, 3.5-inch disk .
- One hard disk with at least 4MB of available space.
Software Requirements
- MS-DOS or PC-DOS, version 3.1 or later.
- MS Windows 95 or higher.
- NDIS driver or ODI driver if using a network interface card.
- The TinyTERM Emulator works with MS Internet Explorer, versions 3.02 and
above. Some versions of Netscape Navigator are also supported.
Once you have determine that you have the necessary hardware and software, you
are ready to install the TinyTERM Emulator software .
