Crash on Copy and Paste Operations

Monday, April 9th, 2012

In TinyTERM ITX for Mac version 2.0.x, multiple copy/paste operations eventually lead to a crash. A single one generally doesn’t, nor does it happen if the copy/paste is only done once in a while. But in succession, say copying text from multiple screens, it does crash eventually.

Disable Scroll Wheel in Preferences Dialog

Monday, April 9th, 2012

The scroll wheel is active constantly in the Preferences dialog in TinyTERM ITX for Mac. Century Software has had a request to disable this by default, so that settings such as terminal emulation are not changed accidentally.

CR 1014

Enter Key Inconsistently Applies Changes to Preferences

Monday, April 9th, 2012

In TinyTERM ITX for Mac, the Enter key does not always apply changes made in the Preferences dialog. It does not always activate the Apply button, even when the button is highlighted.

CR 1013

Shift-Tab Acts As Tab

Friday, December 30th, 2011

CR 992

Error Reading Private Key

Friday, December 30th, 2011

Configure an SSH connection for an RSA key on TinyTERM ITX for Mac. Add the public key to the host system. As soon as you try to connect, the message “Error reading private key” comes up. Password and keyboard-interactive both work.

CR 989

More Keys on Button Bar

Friday, December 30th, 2011

TinyTERM ITX includes an optional function key button bar that can be displayed below the emulator window. These keys act the same as the F1-F12 keys on a physical terminal.

This is particularly helpful on the Mac, since the function keys can be configured for many other uses in OS X. So can other non-alphanumeric keys. Century Software has received a request to add keys to that button bar, such as the Insert and Delete keys.

CR 988

Close on Disconnect Option

Friday, December 30th, 2011

Century Software has received a request to add an option to TinyTERM ITX that will close the application when the session disconnects. This would happen automatically after logging out of most host systems.

CR 985

Multiple Session Support

Friday, December 30th, 2011

TinyTERM for Linux currently supports only one emulation session. To work around this, multiple TinyTERMwindows can be opened, each with a separate session.

TinyTERM for Mac allows multiple windows, and multiple session tabs in a single window.

Century Software is currently working on allowing multiple emulation sessions in a single instance of TinyTERM for Linux.

CR 977

Thursday, August 11th, 2011

TinyTERM ITX for Mac will occasionally fail to install on OS X version 10.5. This does not happen on all such systems. There is no workaround at present.
